The School of Computing congratulates Dr. Ninghao Liu and his collaborators on a new NSF grant titled "Teacher-Involved Adaptive Learning with Explainable Generative AI".  This 3-year, $850k grant will incorporate Generative AI into various classrooms to develop and support personalized education through an adaptive learning system for students. The project will enable instructors to create high-quality, explainable assessments tailored to students' needs, offering a customized learning experience. Additionally, the project aims to promote AI literacy among educators and lay the groundwork for future teacher-in-the-loop systems in broader educational settings. Dr. Ninghao Liu's collaborators in this project are Professors Xiaoming Zhai, Yizhu Gao, and Nicholas Young, all from the College of Education at the University of Georgia.
